Pricelists, quotations and invoices for productions outside of South Africa are issued in Euro.

When producing in South Africa, V.I.P.'s quotations and invoices reflect both the Rand and current Euro values, for the clients' convenience. Final invoices are however issued in Rand, according to local fiscal legislation.

Daily fee is payable from day of arrival to day of departure.
An advance payment of 80 % of the estimated production cost has to be transferred to V.I.P.'s bank accounts prior to the teams' arrival.

The outstanding balance is to be settled on presentation of the final invoice, if not otherwise agreed.
Accounts older than 30 days will be charged with a 2% monthly interest.
Suppliers' prices are subject to changes without notice.

Cancellations:
V.I.P. will not charge any cancellation fees for its services, should the planned production not take place, and V.I.P. has been advised timely. However, should a great amount of pre-production work be done prior to the cancellation, a pre production fee might be billed accordingly. Clients are kindly asked to inform V.I.P. of a change of plans immediately, as some suppliers will charge for late cancellations.

Insurance (South Africa only):
V.I.P. in line with South African requirements and all S.A.A.S.P. members, offers visiting teams a "public liability cover" up to R 4.000.000 and "personal injury cover" up R 50.000.
Vehicle insurance cover excludes the "excess" figure of R 3000, for damages caused by negligent driving.
Some vehicle hire companies offer a "top up" insurance to avoid the "excess" amount, for an extra R 50 per day.
Passengers are insured against "personal injury" while driving in the insured vehicles, up to R 20.000.000.

Insurance for equipment rented, or against theft of personal belongings, is not provided by V.I.P., but can be organized on clients’ behalf if so required, at an additional cost to be negotiated with the insurance companies.

Insurance (European & International countries): V.I.P. does not offer a “public liability”, or “personal injury “cover to clients shooting in European, or other countries. The only available insurance is the one offered by the vehicle hire companies. If clients wish to purchase insurance cover for the duration of their trip, they should do so with their brokers, in their country of residence.
